i especially liked the concepts on serendipity and cooperate-instead-of-compete. imho, we need a lot more of these 2 among the other thousands of things that needs to be done.

Attended your talk. Great way to spread your experience, wish more people like you can share their knowledge to the rest who don't have the chance to go to INSEAD.
Eventhough, we are from different background and educational exposure, I do share some of your principles.

ABOUT MYSELF
I have studied in 7 different institutions of learning. I have stayed in the united states as well as the middle east. I speak english and arabic with considerable ease. I have also travelled extensively throughout the world during my tenure as deputy minister and chief minister. This has given me a broader perspective of life. I also believe that I see things differently, provide different solutions to the same problem. My experience as an entrepreneur, a deputy minister and a chief minister can provide useful contributions during discussions. As a political leader, I make judgments from political, social and economic standpoints. I have to gather information from all possible angles and form a decision when all of them have been considered. This is a skill that I have developed over the years and I believe it is of interest to others.
I have had the distinct opportunity to be in different managerial positions. I have been an entrepreneur, running a family owned construction business. I was once a member of parliament and appointed to the post of Deputy Minister of Entrepreneurial Development by the Prime Minister from 1995 – 1999. During the period of 2004 - 2008, I was the Chief Minister of the state of Terengganu. I am currently the state assemblyman of Jerteh constituency. I am also a member of the UMNO supreme council, the highest governing body of the party. In all, I could perhaps safely say that I have had more than 25 years of management experience, most of them at top management level.
